Responsible Business
We try to treat others as we would wish to be treated. Open and fair to all.
Corporate Social Responsibility
We don't regard ourselves as a business operating in isolation to everyone and everything else but recognise that our actions and requirements have an impact across a broad spectrum of people and organisations.
Our Suppliers
We have contracts with a large number of suppliers all of whom are responsible for helping us deliver the end service to our clients. Choosing our suppliers is an important business and is controlled in large part by the application of the quality assurance system ISO 9001 which we have applied since 1996 and for which we are externally audited for compliance every six months. It is important to us that our suppliers are around for the long term and we intend to continue treating them in a way that will foster the relationship.
Our Clients
Our clients and customers are just as important of course and we continually strive to find ways of improving the quality of our service. ISO 9001 plays a very important part here too as does the more specific Lexcel quality standard to which we have been accredited since 2000.
Our Employees
As an Investor in People since 1996 we have seen the benefits that can be gained from looking after our employees interests where they flow in tandem with our own.
Our Community
Over the years we have, either as a firm or by encouraging and permitting individuals to devote time to other projects away from the office, sought to support community activities and ventures. Such contributions have taken many forms and have included talks and presentations to school and university students, contribution to governance of local schools, assisting artistic ventures by providing pro bono work to e.g. Milton Keynes City Orchestra and undertaking voluntary work for the benefit of the business community. Sarah Canning, the commercial litigation member of Franklins Solicitors LLP is, for example, the current chair person of The East Midlands Young Directors Forum which has been formed by the Institute of Directors. We have done more and more will continue to be done.
The Environment
We take our responsibilities seriously here too and there is a separate page devoted to our environmental policy.
