Died Intestate

Your estate will be passed according to a scheme laid down in law made to reflect the wishes of the average person.

What happens if I die without making a Will?

If you die without a valid Will in place, you would be deemed to have died Intestate. Your estate will be passed according to a scheme laid down in law designed to reflect the wishes of the average person. These are called the Intestacy Rules. The person or persons entitled to your estate will depend on which of your relatives are alive at the date of your death, if any.
