Engineering Warranty Disputes

We advised a PLC on their warranty position in a potentially significant product liability dispute.

It was important that we worked together as an extension of their in-house legal team to secure all the relevant information pertinent to the advice. This meant establishing great communication links between our respective teams and building a rapport which led to the easy flow of information to assist the review and preparation of the advisory note to their main board. As in any engineering dispute, it was important to have an understanding of the product and the issues faced.
