Administrator - Private Client

The LLP would be interested in hearing from applicants who have ideally worked in a legal environment. The ideal candidate will be supporting our Private Client Solicitors. The position would suit someone who is approachable, flexible, confident, and accurate and has an eye for detail. 

Key Responsibilities

• To be the initial point of contact for new enquiries coming into the department 
• To book and make appointments for clients and manage fee earner’s diaries
• To take initial instructions from clients and open files through the Office Management System
• To undertake the completion of dictation notes for the fee earners in the department
• Scanning and file closures
• Liaise with clients both in office meetings and in telephone discussions.
• Receiving and issuing correspondence/mail from/to the client and third parties.
• Checking and working in accordance with task list and diary reminders
• Time recording all work undertaken.
• Attending outside appointments as required.
• Reporting to and receiving and acting upon instruction from the relevant fee earners and the head of department.

• To be able to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work in a friendly professional team environment.
• Presentable with excellent telephone manner.
• Ability to work to deadlines, show flexibility and prioritise workloads in a calm and consistent manner
