Frequently Asked Questions about the £50 Challenge
When will the £50 Challenge campaign run?
The £50 Challenge 2026 campaign will run from Feb 23th – May 29th.
Is the money raised split equally between charities?
No. Each team chooses which of our charity partners they wish to support and all the proceeds raised by that team go to that charity.
Who can enter a team into the £50 Challenge?
The £50 Challenge is largely a corporate fundraising campaign and is open to businesses of all sizes from sole traders, through to large companies such as John Lewis. We have also seen some community groups participating, such as a local theatre group and a team of service users.
There is no upper or lower limit to the size of the team.
Can we organise fundraising activities outside of the campaign dates?
Yes, you can if you wish to do so. However, be aware that any funds raised outside of the campaign dates will not be counted towards your final total for the challenge.
What support will my team receive?
All £50 Challenge teams receive a toolkit with social media assets and a list of fundraising ideas. You will also receive a weekly newsletter with updates to let you know what the other teams are getting up to and provide some inspiration!
You will also benefit from regular tagging on social media and potential PR opportunities throughout the campaign.
When you sign up, you’ll be assigned a dedicated contact from Franklins (in addition to the Franklins Marketing team) and a representative from your chosen charity, who will be in regular contact throughout the campaign.
How do we ensure the money raised goes to our chosen charity?
Once you have chosen your charity from our selected charity partners, you will need to set up a fundraising page for them. For any cash raised, you will need to liaise with your dedicated charity representative directly to arrange collection.
