Amy-Jane Westaway qualifies as a Chartered Legal Executive

Franklins Solicitors LLP are pleased to announce that after eight years at the firm, Amy-Jane Westaway has qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive.

Amy-Jane joined Franklins as a Paralegal in 2012 in our residential property division. Over the years that followed, with hard work and dedication, Amy-Jane progressed to the position of Assistant Manager in 2017.

Having reached a stage in her studying in which she needed to decide upon the discipline in which she wanted to continue her career, Amy-Jane made the move to our Dispute Resolution team later in 2017 where she has continued to develop her knowledge and skill set assisting clients in a wide range of Dispute Resolution cases.

Amy-Jane said “My career at Franklins so far has given me the opportunity to develop a diverse skill set, not only in law, but also client care. I share the firm’s belief that individual client care and the provision of quality legal services are of paramount importance for both our commercial and individual clients and bear this in mind on all of our cases. The support and guidance provided by the Partners here over the course of the last 8 years has been unparalleled, enabling me to progress and grow as a legal professional and I look forward to many more years furthering my career with the firm”.

Helen Taylor TEP, Training Principal and Partner at Franklins Solicitors LLP “We believe in developing our staff to fulfil their potential for their own benefit as well as ours. Our training programme has been developed over a number of years and we see it as an investment well made. Despite all the current challenges, we have been able to grow our Dispute Resolution division offering a range of litigation and mediation services and we are delighted that Amy-Jane has chosen to accept a permanent position within the firm. We are confident she will have an amazing career with us and warmly welcome her to the team.”

Franklins’ Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution, Sarah Canning praised Amy-Jane saying “Amy-Jane is a valued member of the Franklins team who has shown great determination and commitment to complete her qualification and work at the same time. Amy-Jane’s excellent people skills, combined with legal skills evidenced by this qualification, make her an exceptional litigator. She is someone clients appreciate having on their side.”

Franklins would like to wish Amy-Jane continued success in her role as a Chartered Legal Executive as she continues her legal career with us.
