We are looking for an experienced Paralegal ideally with 2 – 3 years’ working in a residential property department, familiar with the conveyancing process, meeting deadlines and managing client expectations. The Firm would be keen to hear especially from those who have undertaken the CQS accreditation.

The position would suit an individual who can work well within a busy department, is flexible, approachable and confident.

Key areas and responsibilities for the role:

  • Engage with clients over the telephone in a professional & friendly manner
  • Manage diary and key dates
  • Able to work on freeholds and leaseholds
  • Demonstrate the ability to work and assist on both sale and purchase files from the point of file opening to completion, under supervision. This will include, but not limited to, issuing draft contracts, dealing with enquiries, raising searches and completions. Training will be provided.
  • Work in accordance with our regulators and the Firms accreditations.

Skills and Experience

  • 2 – 3 years’ previous experience working in a residential property department
  • Ideally hold the CQS accreditation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines & show flexibility
  • Ability to work in a team
  • The candidate must be able to work in an open plan, friendly but fast paced and professional environment.

Hours                                                                                                           

Hours are 09:00 – 17:30  Monday to Friday.
