Charlotte completed her undergraduate law degree at Nottingham Trent University in 2023, she then returned to the University to complete the Legal Practice Course. She completed the course in the summer of 2024 also gaining a Masters qualification. Charlotte is aspiring to qualify as a solicitor.
Charlotte joined the Firm in October 2024 as a Paralegal in the Employment Team.
Working alongside our Head of Employment, Sara Marshall, Charlotte deals with a variety of employment matters, including:
- Negotiating Settlement Agreements on behalf of both employee and employers
- Liaising with clients, employers and contacts, such as the court, and other solicitors
- Assisting with the management of redundancies
- Drafting documents, letters, and correspondence
- Handling confidential client information
- Dealing with client and employer enquiries
Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys spending time with her friends, exploring the world, and walking her dogs!
Zoe studied a Bachelor of Arts in English and History at Nottingham Trent University between 2018 and 2021 where she gained First Class Joint Honours. Zoe has gone onto complete a law conversion course and the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School obtaining a Distinction. Zoe specialised in Commercial Property, Commercial Law and Civil Litigation as well as focusing on “A Critical Analysis of the Welfare Principle: Reform or Reinterpretation?”
In the Commercial Property Department, Zoe deals with a range of areas which include:
- Drafting fee estimates to potential clients.
- File creation.
- Complying with money laundering and compliance regulations.
- Drafting and submitting applications to the Land Registry for Transfers, Transfer of Parts, Leases etc. This extends to complying with requisitions raised within a sufficient time manner.
- Ordering searches for residential and commercial properties as well as applying for indemnity insurance policies.
- Preparing and completing files for exchange and completion.
- Answering internal and external calls to assist with colleagues and clients.
- Assisting with Legal Research in relation to a variety of issues.
- Drafting legal documentation such as Leases, Rent Deposit Deeds, Transfers, Licences.
- Reporting to clients on legal documentation and the result of the client’s searches as well as reporting on enquiries.
- Preparing letters to inform clients of exchange and completion.

Outside of work, Zoe loves to travel the world to experience different cultures, a bit of retail therapy and attending concerts of her favourite artists.
Amy graduated from the University of Leicester with a First Class LLB Law Degree, and is now involved in the following in her role as Paralegal at Franklins Solicitors:
– Boundary disputes
– Debt Recovery
– Rental Repossession
– Contentious probate
Outside of work Amy enjoys travelling, going out for food with friends on the weekends and running.
Melita graduated from Birmingham City University with a 2:1 Law with Business LLB degree and has recently completed her Legal Practice Course with an aim to become a Qualified Solicitor.
During the first seat in New Homes, Melita dealt with a variety of conveyancing procedures on sale and purchases from commencement to completion. Helping transactions to progress well by maintaining contact with clients, Solicitors, Developers, Estate Agents, Mortgage Advisors, and other parties. Following completion of the first seat of the training contract, Melita moved onto her second seat in Litigation and Dispute Resolution Services which will include a range of civil and commercial matters. Melita has returned to New Homes to complete her last seat of the training contract.

Outside of work Melita enjoys travelling to new countries exploring the world, a bit of retail therapy and going to the gym.
Danijela has completed her three year law degree at Nottingham Trent University and went on further to complete the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Birmingham with a view to becoming a solicitor. Danijela joined the firm in October 2022 as a Paralegal in our Private Client Team. She undertook her first seat in Private client and her second seat in Employment. She is currently undertaking her last seat in Litigation.
Danijela has also had experience in commercial property and residential property.
In her spare time, Danijela enjoys going to the gym/crossfit regularly and spending time with her friends and family.
